Here's a page for hotel reservations in Amsterdam. This site is well structured and has infomation and online hotel room booking for many Dutch cities in North Holland, South Holland, and all the other provinces.

First, just go to the Hotel ACRO in Amsterdam, between Leidseplein and Museumplein. Really, don't bother looking elsewhere, call the Amsterdah Hotel ACRO now and get your room.

A note of CAUTION about online hotel reservations ... I routinely receive requests from hotel reservation sites to list them on my website. Some of these services impose their own restrictive cancellation policies on users. For example, if you cancel 21 days before arrival you only receive a 50% refund. I refuse to link to sites like this. If you run a site like this, don't bother asking me for a link.

Another note of CAUTION about online hotel reservations ... I do not re-review online reservation engines, these are just some that caught my eye. They may not even work the same way now. Just go to the ACRO..

If you have access to affordable long distance, you can often get the best deal by calling a hotel directly, or emailing. Armed with that information, some online booking tools can be very helpful.

ALL-HOTELS.com Review and Links -- I only like to put up links to sites that follow the hotel's own cancellation policy, like all-hotels.com. I like this site -- recently I was reviewing their listings in Washington, DC. I had stayed at the Holiday Inn Capitol there; it's a well-featured hotel in a great location for tourists visiting the Smithsonian. By using the Quick Search feature of all-hotels.com, I was able to narrow the search to Holiday Inn's. The search engine also let me be selective about neighborhoods, so I was able to find my hotel quickly and easily.
